The Assistance or ICU ( IN Case of Emergency ) button is on the back of the Doro 170N and when pressed will alert all the ‘Responders’ that are set up in the Response by Doro app, as well as showing the Doro user’s location. Within the Response by Doro app, users are also able to help manage settings remotely. A subscription version of the service is also available, routing calls to an alarm receiving centre if Responders are unable to accept alerts
The Doro 170N comes with a visual ring indicator, speakerphone, Bluetooth, large display text, optional display modes optimised for visually impaired users and a safety timer. Set the safety timer to on, do the task (i.e. take a shower) and if the alarm hasn’t been deactivated within the set time then the Response button with automatically activate. You can decide the time period, up to a maximum of 120 minutes. The device is also splash-proof
